Does anyone have experience about the important of radiation for a internal combustion simulation? When should radiation be included and how important it is?

hi tom, it is better to include radiation (in general P1 model) for your combustion simulations, because in the combustion chamber the amount radiation from products gases to walls and vice versa is vital role for heat transfer. some u may not find much difference in tempe with and without inclusion. but it is good include...

i hope u understood...all the best
