Liquid-gas separation
Hi All! I need your advices on following multiphase problem. The problem is to model gas-liquid separation process taking place in a vessel. Liquid, containing both dissolved gases and bubble gases, enters the vessel, gets separated and then degassed liquid and gas are removed through two separate ducts. Both liquid and gas are multicomponent. The goal is determine if there is enough time for the phases to separate and how vessel geometry affects this. Temperature, pressure is const, heat of evaporation is negligible. As to me I have to use steady eulerian multiphase model, mass transfer should be taken into account through DEFINE_EXCHANGE_PROPERTY macro (I have a little understanding how to do it). Still dont know what to do with bubbles. So wating for your advices!
