temperature limited - absolute pressure limited
Hi all
I,m simulating a bullet in the air (supersonic, euler). The first order stops at about 100 iterations, and the residuals jump over 1e+10 ! Here is a screenshot of the situation : http://img182.imageshack.us/img182/6...eenshotge6.png The error message says : temperature limited to 5.000000e+03 in 1 cells on zone 2 ...and... absolute pressure limited to 1.000000e+00 in 1 cells on zone 2 Does anybody have any idea about how to fix it ?? solve-->controls-->limits ; and change the limite values. but it's bed solution you must adapte this cell or the grid

still I am not sure why the temperature would be so high.... I have a cylinder which is receiving a heat flux of 15000 and it says temperature for 2345678 cell is 1.5e4 which is the same value as the flux. I am assuming this cell is near the wall. |
Hypersonic Flow Over Cylinder ( Temperature very high~280,000)
