problems about pressure inlet

I see from the Fluent 6.2 User's Guide that:in the pressure inlet, Ps'=Ps-ρgx,in which Ps is the static pressure,Ps'is the pressure.Can anyone tell me what is x present?Is it the depth of the water?

And meanwhile I have another question to ask for your help.We all know that the Bernoulli equation is Z1+P1/(ρg)+α1*V1*V1/(2g)= Z2+P2/(ρg)+α2*V2*V2/(2g)+hw,what I want to know is how to consider the effor of potential energy(Z1 and Z2) in our CFD caculation?

The static pressure of a fan is: psf = ps2-pt1

where: psf= static pressure of a fan

ps2= static pressure at fan outlet

pt1= total pressure at fan inlet

I don't know if this is exactly the definition you need, but i think it could be helpful.
