Only Radiation

Hi,

I am doing a transient simulation with S2S radiation model and i need to know if there is a way to kill the effects of natural convection.(i.e. consider only radiation.)

I have tried changing my fluid zones to solid (my fluid was air). My idea is to create a sort of vacuum insted of air and to study only the effects of radiation.

Thank you, Alt

Re: Only Radiation

Solve only the energy equation. Or set gravity to zero. Or change the thermal capacity of the fluid to 1E-30.

Re: Only Radiation

Or define->bc->fluid, check "fixed values" and set x,y,z velocities to constant=0 (kind of brutal).
