gambit: mesh edges, change direction

Hi!

I want to mesh the edges of a volume to mesh the faces with quad/ map type elements. Finally I want to use copper type elements to mesh the volume.

BUT: the problem is that */?=;%§" mesh edges tool. For me, it is very confusing!

One question: how to change the direction of an edge?? There is a little arrow on the edges, that determines the direction of a grading of that edge.

Now, I have two edges parallel and I want them to have the same mesh, so I have to form a soft link between them. BUT: If they have different directions, what to do?? when I use the reverse funvtion, I reverse both of them.

Any idea? Are there any other tools that can mesh an edge??

Ralf

When you pick the edge and the arrow is in the wrong direction, click the middle button on your mouse to change the direction.

OK!!! It is contr. + middle butten!

That works, but still, I do NOT like the edge meshing function!!!

Thanks
