Default Modelling deforming inflatable geometry in Fluent

I'm trying to model the fluid structure interaction of inflatable geometry in Fluent. I would like to use a UDF to perform simple structural calculations and deform the mesh accordingly.

Is it possible to locally modify the mesh from within a UDF? The deforming mesh tools within Fluent 6.2 seem to be designed for rigid body motion, rather than localised deformation.

Any ideas?

I have never done it my self but the DEFINE_CRID_MOTION() macro can be used to deform the grid.
