mark a region

i have a 3D geometry having dimensions (0.15*0.15*0.45).i want to mark the half volume so that i may be able to do the initialization.how should i do this?? Thanks..

Let it be single volume (Domain), but use UDF DEFINE_INIT fir initialization.
