How to simulate overlapping rotating domains with two different centres of rotation? This case happens in gear pumps as well as roots blower. What is the method to simulate such applications? How can we use MRF here? Will steady state simulation with rotating wall do, this will be without MRF.

You said earlier that you don't have Polyflow. The mesh superposition is not available in regular Fluent. You'll have to use a moving deforming mesh (defined motion using UDFs).

You could switch to an overset (Chimera) solver like Overflow. But you'll have to find the software and learn enough about it to use it.

Yes you are right Jason. We do not have polyflow. The moving mesh will solve this problem? We just have to rotate solids walls, not any fluid mesh right? (unlike centrifugal pump where we rotate fluid mesh). So I have to use compulsarily tetra, I think. Kindly comment. Will this work in regular fluent?
