coal combustion simulation

hi,everybody. Now I'm doing tangential-firing coal boier simulation. My question is that which kind of mesh can decrease numerical diffusion.

Thanks Jan

I have done some work of tangential-firing mesh. But I can't sure which is good. Can you send some mesh picture to me? thanks

I curious why you are concerned about numerical diffusion when there are likely much bigger problems in trying to model radiation, combustion, and turbulence accurately.

Good point. It is a good idea to find the big errors/deviations and do something about that. A poor mesh is though one of the sources of errors and can be improved.
