Buoyancy flow around a single building

Dear all,

I am a student and have little experience in using the Fluent.

I am now dealing with the task simulating 3-D buoyancy flow (natural convection) around a single building. I have created a closing atmospheric domain (a rectangular block) around a building. However,I cannot obtain the desired velocity vectors diagram and I think I faced the difficulties of choosing the correct boundary conditions.

Somehow I have set the boundary conditions of the six faces of the domain as follows:

a) The ground: Wall, adiabatic

b) Face to the sky: Wall, adiabatic

c) Faces perpendicular to the ground: 1 Pressure Inlet, 1 Pressure Outlet, 2 Symmetry

I would like to ask if I have any wrong for this boundary conditions default. Please give me some comments.

Thank you very much

nelson
