Default Simulation of Laser Drilling in FLUENT

Has anyone done this successfully? The main thing I want to do with this is look at the temperature profile of the material after it has been laser drilled so i can see what is going on.

Here is how I have been simulating it, but I think I'm missing a few things and the results might not be totally accurate. Help would be appreciated.

I have created two cylinders that are meshed independantly of each other. The inner cyclinder is very small compared to the outer cylinder and has a much tighter mesh. The boundaries conditions throughout are walls. I then apply an extreme heat flux to the top of the inner cylinder and run through a set number of iterations (using a very small time step when using the unsteady solver). I am able to get results that shows a temperature profile of what I kind of expect to see, but since I am new to the program I feel as if I am missing something.

Any advice, tips, tutorials, etc would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
