fan boundary
 
I'm new to fluent and dont know how to put fan boundary condition (whether to take CAD model of fan or to take only surface).Please help me. Thanks in advance

Fan boundary is a simplification of the fan. So just a planar surface representing where the fan is will suffice. This model will then calculate the momentum source it need to put to get the required pressure gain for the given flow based on the values you specify as inputs.
