I am a learner and I've imported an ACIS file in gambit and i want to make invisible some faces of the volume that i've in the graphics window. soi -click the specify display attributes command button -click in the faces list box to make it active -select the faces in the graphics window -select the visible:OFF option -unslect the lower topology option -click apply but the faces are always visible. Why?

It's because the volume is still visible. The faces were made invisible, but because the volume is still visible, you won't see any difference. Turning off the lower topolgy option allows you to keep the lower topolgy visible, but there's no option to automatically make the higher topology invisible. 1st make the volume(s) invisible, then make the face(s) invisible.
Hope this helps, and good luck, Jason |
