vof subtime step

Default vof subtime step

hello,

I simulating capillary effect in a vertical pipe. My solution does converge but I have to set small time steps cause else the error "to many() vof subtime steps" appears. Is there any wax to influence the vof subtime step? Helps a finer grid?

I would be glad about each response.
