Hi all;

According to the user guide ,"Only one of the phases can be compressible" in vof model.

What's meaning of the compressible in multiphase flows ; mach number under 0.3 , or , varying density in terms of temperature and other properties ?

I appreciated for everybody reply me.

Best regards;

Asghari

The compressible phase is the phase which is assume to follow the perfect gas equation. So you can have another compressible phase but it couldn't be a perfect gas. For instance you can set up an eos for a compressible liquid.

I hope my answer help you.
