Default ACIS error 9032: inconsistent edge-face rel.ship

When trying to subtract a volume from another I get the above error message. The same happens when trying to split the volume with the other. What is it and what can I do about it?

Typically means the geometry is corrupt. You could try healing the geometry before subtracting it.
