I am finding difficulties in solving for incompressible turbulence modelling over a general external flow field over a body. Which model best suits? It take around 400 flow time sec's, and still results are not to the satisfaction. SA model, KE model (2 equation) does not work well with any setting.

Please advice the proper turbulence model with suitable settings

First of all what do you mean by saying no satisfaction... convergence problems or not accurate enough solution? Is this a 2-D or 3-D simulation? LES is better from kappa-epsilon but it also requires finer mesh. It is always a trade-off. Generally, there is no universal reply about what is the best model

SA model should work fine for external flow. Try to check the mesh quality specially near the wall.
