Hi i am doing fan performance test. My fan is 460mm Dia. I want to know what should be my domain size and about how much portion i should make rotating zone?

Also what should be my boundary condition.

Hi!

If you want to compare your results to experiments (what I would do always at least for one case...) your domain and your BC have to be close to the situation, were the experiments were made.

That is, for a fan test place, with free blow out and free blow in: a pressure outlet and a pressure inlet condition. The piping system is your domian - thats basically it.

I dont know about moving mesh... sorry...

Ralf
