nmake in Command prompt

After setting the directory and files for compiled UDF's , the nmake command is not working . I am getting an error message.

The message goes this way.....

'nmake' is not recognised as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.

Please help

Re: nmake in Command prompt

You need to run fluent from the Visual Basic Command prompt. It sets up a bunch of environment variables for the compiler.

Maybe it is too late for you. however it could be useful for other ones. Have a look here: http://www.question-defense.com/2009...or-batch-file/

this error is because of not istalling VC++.I had this problem.
or maybe u installed it but it is not compatible with ur fluent.
for example fluent 6.and fluent 6.26.3 is compatible with VC++6 but not with VC++ 2005.
inform me about ur problem.
