I am thinking to use fluent to study the heat conduction throough the heat spreaders. Could anyone please comment on the capability of the fluent for the solid only modeling. I have use ansys and it perform quiet well for some simple problem. unfortunately i cant use it for complicated conduction problem due to the intermediate type of license with the limited element size capability. For fluent we have full version. I am a begineer in using CFD softwares so any opinion for your side will be of great help for me in choosing the CFD tool and working my way through. Thanks
