Help! sub-iterations, Dynamic Mesh or UDF

Hi everybody,

I am trying to do a strong coupling algorithm for FSI with Fluent. I am searching for a possibility to do sub-iterations within one timestep.

So my first question would be: Is it possible with Fluent to update the dynamic mesh again (or more than one time) within one timestep, not only at the begin of a timestep?

Second question: Or is it possible to stop the actual iterations with a UDF (would mean a convergence criterium in or changed by the UDF) and go to the next timestep?

Does anybody has already realisied a strong coupling algorithm with sub iterations and can tell me his/her experiences and maybe some tricks?

Thanks for help! A really need some (diploma!!!). Claudia
