creation of circular face in 3d rectangular model
 
hai to every one

i am facing problem in creating circular face in 3d rectangular prism in middle in fluent. i tried with define-surfce-quadric suface option.but i could not succede .i want to create a circular face in 3d model .please help in this direction

You could define your axis of rotation as the center of the face you want to solve (Define->Boundary Conditions, and select the fluid volume, then define your axis of rotation). Then to create the face you can create an iso-surface of constant radius (Fluent will use the axis of rotation you defined for the fluid as the axis for the surface).
