Hi,

I am looking for modeling the hydrodynamic resonance of a water column due to vortex shedding because of VOF method. The following figure describes at the best the problem:

http://jrougeot.free.fr/sheme.JPG

at the angle, there is a vortex shedding which has to create an oscillation in the water column.

The problem is that with an inlet-pressure at the top, I cannot obtain an oscillation, the mouvment of the water column seems to be limited by the constant air pressure at the top. Actually, I am looking for not to impose a constant pressure at the top and also permit to the quantity of air to oscillate. How can I do this?
