floating operating presure

Default floating operating presure

hi i am modelling a piston cylinder arrangement.initially the cylinder is filled wid helium gas at 31 bar.Their is large change in presure inside cylinder (around 15bar). Is it desirable to take floating operating presure ?

if yes how much to take intial operating presure and gauge pressure ? thanks in advance
