Default fluent error - invalid argument message
Posts: n/a

I've been using fluent to investigate heat transfer. All was running smoothly until I got the following error message when running a new model:

Error: > (greater-than): invalid argument [2]: wrong type [not a number] Error Object: nan

It seems to have come out of the blue. I now get this message everytime I try to solve a new model. What has happened? any help appreciated

NAN stands for "Not A Number". In programming, you could get this error when an operation is performed on the number "infinity".

Monitor the residuals. Is the solution diverging?
