Partilce capture at filter

Hi all :
I am trying to simulate capture of particles (in a water sample) at a filter. I also want to represent the change in filter porosity over time as particles are deposited. I have been trying to use a Discrete Phase Model (DPM), but I am at a loss as to how I can model particle capture and relate that to filter clogging. According to Fluent Tech Support, Porous Jump Boundary Condition will not work in this case, and therfore, I must use the full porous media model. Any suggestions and References would be greatly appreciated. Ren |
