hi ! I works on a metalurgical tundish, the turbulent flow 3D of liquid steel at high temperature. my problem is that the solution converged in more less than 100 itérations !!, I haven't found why, can you please help me. thanks

hi Rizwan, I want to say that the simulation was for a 3D geometry of a metallurgical tundish ( it is a bath of liquid steel) the problem is that for a k-& model of turbulence, for my boundary conditions and for my grid of about 1 million of cells , the calculation converges in few itérations , like 27 itérations !!! and in some cases I tried it converges in 160 itérations. I want to know what may be the problem in my configuration. thank you for your help.

what is the convergence criteria u r using? if its 1e-3 i sugesst u use 1e-6 and use double precision. if its steady case, i strongly feel u have to look at ur problem once again.

Regards
