Default Far Field Pressure Boundary

Folks, I am running a Mach 2.1 diffuser. A simple diverging duct. I am using the Far Field pressure boundary as my inflow condition. It appears that it takes a long time for the boundary mach number to match the applied condition. Have others experienced this?

I'm running: Coupled Solver Full Compressible flow calculation

Any thoughts on how to improve this? It clearly affects overall convergence if the computational boundary needs to converge to the user applied boundary.

I am going to try a specified velocity even though the code warns it is inapproprate for compressible flow.

Thanks Andy R
