Turbulence intensity
 

Hi everyone,

I've been trying to simulate an external flow over a simple shaped solid, but I have some trouble defining the turbulence intensity.

I mean, in the handbook, it is proposed an equation to estimate it from the Re number for internal flows, but what about external flows? is there any other equation to estimate it or do I need to search experimental data?
