Default Text Command for Monitors

Hi All,

When defining surface or volume monitors by text command: /solve/monitors/surface/ set-monitor

there is no option to set X-Axis that you would normally see in Define Monitor window in GUI. I checked also the text commands list, and it is not there.

The only workaround i could find is to open the case file in GUI, manually set X-Axis to say 'time step',and save the case file. Since I'm performing batch simulations without GUI and define all monitors in the script file, you can imagine that it's quite annoying to open and resave each and every simulation case files in GUI, before starting the calculations.

Does anyone knows somehow a command to set X-Axis in monitors?

Thanks in advance. ozgur

Hi, I hear you man.

Here is how it works, once you reach at monitor frequency [1] put it greater than 1, say 5 then you will be asked for time step [no]....put yes --> x-axis> choose flow-time or iter or time-step. Hope this will help you

Cheers !
