" Divergence detected in AMG solver: temperature"
Hi,
I am trying to run a 3D case but each time it diverges. I started with a Laminar - Segregated - Steady case with heat transfer. As that diverged I tried changing Relaxation parameters but that was of no use. I tried unsteady with a 10^-4 timestep. Within 2 time steps it diverged. I even went ahead and saw if it works without without heat transfer, still it diverges. The error message I get is....>> " Divergence detected in AMG solver: temperature" Please Help! Thanks in advance, Suman |
Re: " Divergence detected in AMG solver: temperatu
You must adjust the relaxation factors and numerical method correctly. It depends on specific cases. Please try it again

Thanks Le,
changing the URFs seems to work. Thanks again, Suman |
Re: " Divergence detected in AMG solver: temperatu
hi...
this is just my experiance.. try 2 change the temp.. limits in the control panel.. may be high temp.. is there in ur problem..if not try with diff.. discretization methods for temp . just try |
Hi.
I work on project about subsonic ejector like you. My solve is :air - couple - axisymetric - k-e rng - pressure inlet and outlet ideal gas - my presure inlet are 150 ,250 ,350 ,450 Kpa and out let is atmosphere. unfortunately my solve is divergence!!!!!!!!! really I need to your help. I change k-e to k-omega and pressure inlet to mass flow but devegence again.I know i have a shoke and so reverse flow in fluent. |
