Airfoil Boundary Layer Transition Point
 

I am trying to simulate the affect of applying the boundary layer transition over an airfoil. I know i need to create an additional Fluid zone such that laminar and tutbulent conditions can be applied seperately. How do i create this additional FLUID zone and what boundary conditions apply?

I guess you may need to using UDF to define the transition point on the airfoil, or generate the seperated zones in the gambit when you r making the mesh. you can contact with me, I am also meeting some problem about the transition calculation using FLUENT. zhao.lihao@gmail.com
