what is coupled solver?
 
Hai all, I am not clear about the coupled solver used in fluent.What exactly is it and how is it used?

In coupled solver momentum, continuity and energy equation is solved simultaneously while in segregated solver the equation is solved one by one.

In detail you can read from fluent help.

Better used for compressible flow, since all equations are coupled.
