VOF formulation

Can any body focus on VOF formulation of multiphase flow problem or suggest solved examples that can be downloaded for web sites. During VOF formulation i find floating point error while the same problem can be solved by using both mixture and eulerian model. can anyone say something about this?

thanking you in advance,

Have a nice day.

Re: VOF formulation

Hi, VOF formulation require a very small time step advancing (ie: 10^-4)

floating point errors occur when samething is far from convergenze.

Try to learn "bowl tutorial" in fluent manual

Hope it is helpfull Best regards

Adriano
