i have used volume meshing for my geometry..when is face meshing or edge meshing preferred over volume meshing?

Hi, If you want to have more detail in a certain part of the volume you can mesh some faces with minor values in order to get better mesh in that part. Also you can use size functions to get the best meshes. You can play a bit with 2D meshes. Try to mesh something with different edges mesh sizes to view the results more clear.
