error messege in dynymic meshing

hi i am modeling cylinder piston motion and during piston motion i get following error message.
"Coalesce-rib-faces:cant interpolate data .zones of different type detected" please tell me what THIS MEANS. i shall be very thankfull to you |

Hi! I faced the same problem and the issue was a face split that I made in Design Modeler. These face splits matter, even if they aren't used explicitly during the meshing. I suggest do a dynamic mesh preview in Fluent to determine which geometry feature bothers the mesh movement. I hope my answer was helpful.
