temperature distribution in a plate with 2 metals

Default temperature distribution in a plate with 2 metals

hi i have a problem with modeling temperature distribution in a plate with different metals this problem have a rectangular plat with 2 knid of metals like steel and copper one side is 600k and the other side is 300 when i draw the rectangular in gambit and i mesh it and i set interior and wall in fluent i set boundry condition but i just have temperature distribution for the plate with biger temprature and the other one is at 300 k @ all the plate what should i do do u know any guide?' thx

Guess from me is that these two metals are not conected to each other. Make a face-check in Gambit with the interface steel / copper. You should be told that this face belongs to 2 Volumes. If not split the volumes. hope that helps
