Dear Mr / Ms,
I am learning in Calculation of Flow Uniformity Tutorial( Tutorials with a Focus on User Defined Functions). http://learningcfd.com/login/fluent/...ials/index.htm In this tutorial, I would like to know how to create postprocessing planes post-01,post-02,post-03 and post-04 in Gambit? Any comment will be appreciated. Regards Kyaw |

If you were creating this mesh from scratch you would have to create the planes as if they were walls within Gambit. Make sure to leave them as "walls" when you export the mesh and then change them to interior surfaces in FLUENT. You should then be able to use these surfaces in post-processing.
Alternatively, you could create iso-surfaces of type "Grid" within FLUENT and create surfaces or cross-sections throughout the mesh that you can post-process on without actually creating them in Gambit. |

Hello Tim, Thank for your reply. I tried in Gambit . Creating the faces and give them as interior surfaces in face zone panel. It can aslo possible as post-processing plane in Fluent. regards, Kyaw Kyaw
