pressure drop calculation multi-inlet-outlet syst.

Hello,

I have a question about calculating the pressure drop of the system of pipes. If there is a single pipe, the pressure drop can be calculated as follows: press.drop = avINLETpressure - avOUTFLOWpressure.

But my system consists of 3 inlet pipes perpendiculary connected to the main pipe and 2 outflow pipes connected to that main pipe as well. Should I just take an average pressure of 3 inlets and then substract it from the average pressure of 2 outflows? Can anyone tell me is that approach correct?

Many thanks for your advices and any suggestions about calculating the pressure drop of that system.
