Floating point error

After 150+ iterations, iterations stops and gives an error FLOATING POINT ERROR :INVALID NUMBER
What does this indicate? Plz let me know Thanks |

The errors that are either because of invalid numeric computation initiated by you or limitation of ur pc or u have a data with small or large magbitude . i dont know what ur cases but these are the answers for ur questions i guess .

If that doesn't work try changing the number type(REAL,INT,etc) on any udf you may have to a better description. Probably FLOAT to DOUBLE. I think that was the error message I got when I had written a udf slightly wrong.

I've had this problem before but don't know if it's for the same reason as you and can't really remember how I fixed it but - There are afew good udf examples in the udf user guide. If you rummage through them and find one with similar numbers/structure/commands then comparing them usually fixes any problems.
IF YOU CAN'T FIND ANYTHING YOU SHOULD PASTE THE CODE ONTO A MESSAGE, THERE'S LOTS OF PEOPLE READING WHO HAVE HAD SIMILAR PROBLEMS AND MAY BE ABLE TO SUGGEST A SOLUTION. |
