Help with Fuse function

Guys:

I read in a case file that I merged using tmerge into fluent. I was able to fuse the interface boundary condition on a single processor. When i try doing the same thing on 2 processors, it does not highlight the fuse function in fluent at all. Anybody have any idea why this is or any way by which i can run multiple case files in parallel.

Thanks in advance,

Derick

Re: Help with Fuse function

Hi Derick,

If I recall correctly, you cannot do any grid manipulation in parallel (including merge, fuse, separate). That is why the options are grayed out. You will have to assemble the grids in the serial solver, save the case and then open it in the parallel one.

But there might be other options of which I am not aware.

regards
