Mixture of 2 gazes? (novice)

Hey! I have to modelize a flow of steam (water vapor, gazeous) arriving in an air environment. My goal is to observe the diffusion of the steam in this environment, in order to have an idea of the distribution of the rate of water inside this environment. Does someone have an idea?

Thank you

Luc

Hi

you will have to use the transport of species option to define two species.Don't forget to patch the computational space filled with air i.e. fraction 1. Rest is similar, one of the tutorials that comes with fluent might be helpful.

Thank you for your response.

Maybe you could tell me where I can define the computational space filled with air? (I am still looking for it in the help)

HI,

You have to initialize your case first. Then, the patch button gets highlighted. select it. Make sure you select fluid as air and freaction one in this case then hit the patch button. you r done.
