UDF solution variable for time-averaged mass frac?

Hi all,

I'm using a compiled UDF for flux that finds the gradient of species mass fraction for me. The variable the UDF uses for reference is:

C_YI or C_YI_RG

To reference species mass fraction, though, I would need to have a meaningful steady state solution or instantaneous unsteady solution, and my simulation does not offer that-- it is turbulent [S-A] and highly unsteady.

I would like, instead, to reference the time-averaged mass fraction (from unsteady statistics on an unsteady solver).

What variable should I reference to get the value of mean mass fraction?

Or in other words-- if C_YI and C_YI_RG refer to mass fraction, what would refer to MEAN mass fraction?

My thanks in advance, A. S.
