Hello! I am a novice to CFD/ Fluent. A customer of ours requested us to calculate Area(geo)/ Area(eff) for a part. He gave the definition of Aeff as

m(dot)/ sqrt(2*ro*g(Po,u-Po,d))

What does this mean? Is there a way to calculate in fluent.

I am guessing the geometric area as the actual area of the part.

Thanks Venu
