Time-averaged data-Multiphase

Hi!

I wanted to collect time-averaged Granular Temperature for my Fluidised bed modelling.

Can anybody help?

Many Thanks,

KW

dear kw,

check my query and subsequent reply of bashu on this forum:

time-averaged contour profile (23) - rana, Thu, 17 May 2007, 3:49 p.m. Re: time-averaged contour profile (19) - bashu, Fri, 18 May 2007, 8:44 a.m.

hope that helps ;-)

Re: Time-averaged data-Multiphase

Dear rana,

I have tried that but unforunately granular temperature is not one of the default statistically sampled parameters by Fluent. Do you know how I can include extra sampled parameter, ie, instate of velocity, pressure, say I want to measured a Custom Field function..

Please help,

kw

dear kw,

i dont know this answer..the probem is indeed genuine..why not post your query at http://university.fluent.com/forum/i...97121222b8142c

they will reply for sure very quickly ..i think UDF is an option..although i am not sure how to do it.

pls do tell me the answer also, when u get it :)

take care

Thanks for the forum url.

I found that if you switch the granular phase model to Partial differential equation (Define->Phase-Solid), the data sampling mechanism will track Granular temperature by default.
