Flat propeller disk within a volume

Hi,

I'm a student trying to model a propeller that is inside a volume. The thing is that I've set this propeller as a flat disk, but when I try to mesh the volume, these cells of the propeller are not taken in account.

I've declared the disk as interior face, but the nodes are still not "taken" by Gambit to build the 3d mesh in that volume.

Any suggestion is welcomed.

PD: in general, how to mesh a volume with an unlinked flat surface in it?
