how to simulate an ossilating solid-wall boundary?
 
hello, i need to simulate the ossilating solid-wall boundary(ideal standing wave cndition) in to cylander. please suggest me 1.how can i give boundary condition? 2.how should i set up the problem in fluent? 3.are there any tutorials available that are similar to this problem?any other guides that can help me? please help me and sending the answer to my email with thanks.

There is a tutorial in the fluent user centre to simulate wave tank in the student section.

I am not sure what kind of simulation you are looking at. If I were u I'd look at using UDF rather than resorting to using a moving mesh to simulate wave. UDF is a lot less complicated.
