HELLO,

I TRY TO INITIALIZE A SIMULATION IN FLUENT AND WHEN I CLICK THE "init" BUTTON I GET THE FOLLOWING MESSAGE

Error: FLUENT received fatal signal (ACCESS_VIOLATION) 1. Note exact events leading to error. 2. Save case/data under new name. 3. Exit program and restart to continue. 4. Report error to your distributor. Error Object: ()

DOES ANYBODY KNOW WHAT THIS COULD MEAN? I WOULD APPRECIATE ANY HELP!!!!!

THANKS IN ADVANCE,

ANASTASIOS

This error may be due to an improper grid. Check the grid for negative volume. But I must confess that it is very difficult to predict the cause of this error. As error message says you should report it to your distributor after necessary checks on the parameters you've set.

this, happen to me when Fluent must use a variable value, or a user definited memory position, or an user definited function, that it has't. Try to control all the material properties pearps someone is requested.
