hi, Can you help me to determine a phases and species numbers? I have two phases: let say liquid water and water vapour. What are the numbers of phases in phase panel and what will be a numbere of phases in UDF listed below:

DEFINE_MASS_TRANSFER(dml_v,cell,thread,from_phase_ index,from_species_index,to_phase_index,to_species _index) { .............

from_phase_index=?????; from_species_index=?????; to_phase_index=?????; to_species_index=?????;

in my case primary phase is water vapour and secondary phase is liquid.

thank you for help

I dont`t think so. I think that primary phase is 0, secondary phase is 1 and so on. If phase contain only one species its number is "-1" (according to Fluent masstransfer tutorial. I didn`t manage to confirm that because there was always some error whan I wanted to do it this way).

So...I just need some confirmation....

good luck grzes
